ABUNDANCE is a companion piece to an oil on canvas done in the earliest period when I painted exclusively in oil on canvas. That canvas of a much smaller size (24 by 36 by 2) TREE OF LIFE interestingly had its origins in a farmer’s field in rural Alberta.
both paintings centre on my version of a tree and the fruits of those trees falling to the ground.
